This year was my first Black Friday shopping spree. I decided, though, to go in the afternoon rather than early morning, same deals but less of a selection. It took me a few hours shopping and by the time we were headed home it was very dark outside. My parents phoned us warning us to be safe and to lock our doors and keep our purchases out of sight. I myself thought they were just being paranoid, but apparently not. It would seem that, along with the deals of Black Friday, you get a rise in crime.
Have any of you been Black Friday shopping? Have any of you had any problems with other shoppers or heard other stories about people being hurt or attacked on Black Friday?

I have years ago and I almost went this year but then opted out at the last minute. It took me about an hour to narrow down where I wanted to shop online and once set, I was done within ten minutes. :)

A cyber monday fan, huh? My sister was telling me how it works so I could get what I hadn't in-stores; I don't like the crowds myself, but online shopping is always a bit tough for me, and anything else internet-related:confused:
