Greek/roman myth

Hi, Hopefully someone can help me. I have an antique French clock, and it depicts a man/god/myth with butterfly wings, holding a mask and a doll.

These antique French clocks, the imagery almost always had something to do with Greek and Roman myths, but for the life of me, I can't work out who this would be.

Possibly Anteros, but I've found no connection to the mask and doll.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you upload a photo of this clock? You could try to match the image with other artwork on a site like TinEye: https://tineye.com/

Butterfly wings in Greek myths are departed souls; a mask (is it smiling? frowning?) and doll might point to someone in theater.
