Hello all.
I studied biology in college and work as a lab tech., but I have been interested in mythology since grade school.
Back in the eighties I came across a Time-Life series called The Enchanted World.
It was a series of books that retold many myths from around the world.
Vincent Price advertised it on TV.
Ever since then I have been hooked on the subject.
I have read about 300 books on world mythology.

I'd like to start a thread having to do with Mesopotamian mythology.
But I cannot find any "new thread" icon on the forum page.
Can anyone help?

I asked Jason the administrator to start an Egyptian section, but never got a response

Thank you for the kind words.
So the administrator puts up the sections, I see.
There really could be more. An Egyptian section would be great. Or maybe a Middle Eastern category that would
include the myths of the Egyptians, Hittites, Canaanites, Mesopotamians.
And another section on the mythology of Asia that would involve India, China and Japan.
But for now, this stuff can be talked about in the General section I guess.
