We put our christmas tree up...

I usually put my tree up before Thanksgiving! I go to so much work that I like to have it up as long as possible to really enjoy it and not be stressed. I do like to take it down right around the new year, so it works out well for my family.

Take it down?!? I could never take the tree down, it's too pretty. Hence, my mother always ends up doing it -- when I'm not around. (There really should be a 'huffy' smiley.)

I like the idea of leaving the tree up from the beginning of Advent (November 27, this year) through Epiphany (Old Christmas, January 6). Thus the tree will be up throughout the liturgical Christmas season and the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas.
